SAKAWA is a long-established manufacturer specializing in traditional blackboards. Faced with a declining number of schools due to a shrinking student population, the competition among similar businesses has intensified, leading to a relentless drop in prices. Selling blackboards alone was no longer a viable future for us, and the blackboard industry seemed to be on a path of decline.
However, despite the decrease in their market value, blackboards remain an invaluable tool in classrooms, especially in Japan. Drawing on the idea of reviving traditional tools by adding new value, we developed a unique projector specifically designed for blackboards. This innovative product combines the best aspects of analog (chalk) and digital (projector visuals) to create a modern solution that enhances teaching experiences. This is now our flagship product.

Ultra Wide Projector “WIIIDE”
The “WIIIDE” projector offers a wide size for projection. It features a 16:6 aspect ratio, and it offers a 130-inch maximum projection size. The projector’s brightness features 4,000 lumens. It can offer 4,000 lumens of brightness even at a 130-inch projection size.
Can be projected using a projector! “Projection compatible whiteboard”
The whiteboard’s surface is made of enamel material. It offers durability along with scratch resistance, and it has a long-lasting comfort for writing and erasing with markers. Adding to that, thespecially treated matte surface reduces projector light reflections and allows for clear image projection.
